Prior to being purchased by YouTuber James Webb of Jimmy's World back in January on what would have been Elvis’ 88th birthday from Mecom Auctions, the King of Rock 'n' Roll's private jet sat abandoned in a New Mexico desert for 40 years.

Before it’s life of neglect, the King of Rock 'n' Roll bought the 1962 Lockheed 1329 Jetstar December 22, 1976 less than a year before his death according to People Magazine.

The luxury jet, which seats 9 passengers in luscious red velvet covered swivel chairs and a couch, includes all of the high-end amenities one would expect from a mid-century millionaire's private fleet. As it should, the auction site claims Elvis' original purchase price back in the 70's was a whopping $840,000.

According to Webb’s local news station WFLA News Channel 8, Webb says he intends to recreate the aircraft into an RV that will be used to tour the country and raise money for various charities. The YouTuber says he will be documenting the transformation on his channel Jimmy’s World for the public to follow along. I know I will be, I can’t wait to see how James makes this red and silver sky bullet street worthy!
